1988: My industrial experience started at ABB with the development of high power converters for railway applications.

1994: Further on, I was responsible for the engineering of locomotives at ADtranz. During that time, we created the basis of the loco-portfolio which nowadays is produced by Bombardier/Alstom.

2000: The very exciting sidestep at PA Consulting as "Principle Consultant" opened my view towards other industries handling complex technology projects.

2003: Deutsche Bahn Fernverkehr AG became the center of gravity of my professional career. There I was responsible for all rolling stock, including safety, state of the vehicles, specification of the maintenance regime and personal responsibility towards the authorities. The nine years were enhanced with fleet strategy, redesigns, specifications for new trains, optimisation of maintenance, intensive cooperation with industry, international certifications and - regrettably - some accidents with all their consequences.

2012: The last step of my previous career was at Knorr Bremse being responsible for product strategy and innovation in a phase of widening the company's product portfolio.

2018: Tensor Railway Consulting becomes active.
